Chord Leyline speaker cable has been designed to
offer good quality low loss signal transmission over extremely long runs.
The conductors are constructed using polyethylene insulated, tin-plated,
multi-strand oxygen free copper.
This is the only cable in our range to use this form
of conductor, and it was chosen after experimentation with long runs of
cable showed that tin-plating helped to minimise high frequency signal
loss.
The conductors are twisted along the length of the
cable to help reduce interference.
Leyline is most commonly used to carry signals from a
central amplifier in multi-room installations.
However, it is also a popular choice for use with
rear speakers in home cinema systems where its discreet size and colour make
it a simple cable to install.
