Ideally suited for commercial, educational or public
applications that require constant operation in high traffic environments, the
DVD-V8000 is our most rugged industrial DVD-Video player yet, with a Mean Time
Between Failure (MTBF) rating of 50,000 hours.
The drive components are enclosed in a sealed,
dustproof case with a brushless spindle motor for the disc drive and a
stepping motor to protect the optical drive.
For advanced computer control, the DVD-V8000 offers 9
and 15pin serial interfaces that allow complete control of all of the players
functions via RS-232C Commands.
The 15pin connector also supports the ability to build
custom button input devices to control the player.
Two front-panel and one rear USB interface allows
users to connect a computer mouse, trackball or special handwriting device.
Connecting a Memory device to the USB ports allows
users to load and save their preferred player settings, as well as any command
stack data. Setting up multiple units is quick and easy.
The DVD-V8000 features a DVD-D digital video terminal
(HDCP 1.0 compliant) which allows you to upscale the picture quality to up
1920 x 1080i when connected to a HD display.
This delivers the highest quality digital images from
standard definition DVD-Video.
To ensure high-quality video reproduction,
12bit/216MHz video DAC, digital filters and digital noise reduction
technologies are included.
