in business since 1966. This year is memorably written in
history as the year England won the "World Cup", not the
date Peter started up in retailing. That said, "Peter Tyson"
has gone on to bigger and greater things than the England
football team and is now a major force in the independent
Electrical retail sector.
- Where are we? Peter Tyson
is situated to the Northwest of England, 9 miles from the
Scottish border and on the northern fringe of the Lake District.
This location not only allows us to serve our local community,
but provides us with a stepping stone to Scotland, North
East England and excellent communications routes to the
south.
- Interestingly, even though retailing has changed over
the years, especially more recently with the evolution of
e-commerce, 34 years on, the business ethics that Peter
